ryder Mcginnis's macewan music recital
This poster and promotional material was photographed and designed for a local musician Ryder McGinnis’s MacEwan music recital. Ryder is an up and coming folk singer and guitarist. The goal of the design was to be warm and comfortable and to capture who he is as an individual and singer. The theme of the recital is Finding his voice and through the design he wanted to showcase who he is and how he has grown as a musician over his 5 years at MacEwan.
The brief for this project was to photograph a still life to create a fictional advertisement for a product or campaign. A requirement of the project was to have some items in the image floating and appear to be weightless. With my interest in vintage objects, I constructed a photoshoot that included a variety of vintage objects that were floating in the air, with the focus primarily on the Bentley’s vintage briefcase.
This poster was designed and photographed in my University photography class. The purpose of this project was to photograph a picture that could be a magazine cover. Platform is a fictional fashion company that sells leather shoes and denim.
Gateway to Excellence is a poster designed in my photography class. The goal of this project was to photograph a drink and accessory that could be a poster in the end. I wanted to design something clean and respectful of BC’s Quails Gate wine.
